**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J This is the second petition filed by the petitioner seeking regular bail in FIR No. 54 dated 17.4.2016 registered at Police Station Lalru, Tehsil Dera Bassi, District SAS Nagar (Mohali) under Sections 304-B, 34 IPC and later on added Section 302 IPC. The first petition was dismissed on merits in 2016. The petitioner is in custody since 19.4.2016. The death had taken place within six months of the marriage. State counsel informs that out of 17 witnesses, 8 witnesses have been examined and three have been given up and out of the remaining, four are the official witnesses and the petitioner is the husband. The petitioner is in custody for almost two years. Considering the allegations and also keeping in mind the fact that the death had taken place in the matrimonial home within six months of the marriage, I am not Gurpreet Singh Bhatia 2018.05.01 14:09 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh

The petition is dismissed.

However, since the custody is very old, the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and complete the trial within four months from the next date fixed by it.
