The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.32 dated 12.2.2021 at Police Station Kalanwali, District Sirsa, Haryana under Sections 22(b)/22(c) of Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

At the time of issuance of notice of motion on 18.3.2021, the following order was passed:
"Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that he is nowhere named in the FIR and in fact it is the case of the prosecution that one Ajit Singh was apprehended by the police from whose possession 1200 tablets of 'Tramadol' were recovered and that subsequently the police alleges that the said Ajit Singh PANKAJ KAKKAR 2021.07.28 18:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
( 2 ) CRM-M-12525-2021 (O&M) suffered a disclosure statement nominating the petitioner to be the supplier of contraband.

Meanwhile, in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on interim bail subject to his furnishing personal bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Arresting/Investigating Officer and shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C." 3.
Learned State counsel has informed that pursuant to interim directions, the petitioner has already joined investigation and that his custodial interrogation is not required.

In view of the aforestated position, wherein the petitioner has already joined investigation and he was not even arrested at the spot, the petition is accepted and the interim directions issued by this Court vide order dated 18.3.2021 are hereby made absolute, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall join investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
