(Oral) The petitioners have approached this Court seeking protection of their life and liberty on the premise that petitioner No.1 has performed marriage with petitioner No.2 against the wishes of parents of petitioner No.2 and other family members and the petitioners are apprehending threat to their life and liberty at their instance. Heard.

Notice of Motion.

Ms. Dimple Jain, AAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of respondent - State while Mr. Neeraj Januha, Advocate has appeared on behalf of respondents No.4 to 6.

Counsel for the petitioners has submitted that a representation was made to the Superintendent of Police, Fatehabad, Haryana (Annexure P5) seeking necessary protection but no action has been taken in the matter.

On oral request made by counsel for respondents No.4 to 6 and petitioner No.1, a meeting of the parties was arranged inside the Mohd. Yakub 2017.05.02 17:46 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
