(Oral) The allegations in this regular bail are that petitioner Dhiraj Kumar had entered into wedlock with Anuradha to the disagreement of their respective families and secured orders of the learned District Judge, Ludhiana whereby vide orders dated 10.3.2015, they were given protection regarding life and personal liberty and that subsequent thereto on account of some misunderstanding the wife has lodged complaint against husband and others. The learned State counsel accepts that the complainant is a major and student of B.Com. IIIrd year and thus, debatable issue has arisen over the applicability of sections 354, 506, 341, 34 and 366 IPC. The petitioners are in custody since 11.4.2015.

Criminal Misc. No. M-15196 of 2015 -2Without going into the merits of the case, in the light of the fact that the investigation and trial are not likely to conclude in the near future, no useful purpose will be served by retaining the petitioners in jail. Accordingly, both the petitioners are ordered to be released on regular bail to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Ludhiana.
