Through the instant petition, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No.27 dated 14.03.2015, registered under Sections 4980A and 323 IPC, Police Station City, District Gurdaspur.

Counsel for the petitioner states that Section 406 IPC has now been added.

Vide order dated 11.05.2015 arrest of the petitioner was stayed and vide order dated 19.11.2015 the parties were asked to appear before the investigating officer in an endeavor to settle the matrimonial dispute.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the parties had appeared before the investigating officer and the petitioner has joined the investigation and has cooperated.

Learned State counsel on instructions has stated that the petitioner has joined the investigation.

None has appeared on behalf of the complainant. Looking to all these circumstances, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the petition is allowed and order dated 11.05.2015 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 Sub Section 2 Clauses (i)(ii) and (iii) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
