Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner, who is 70% challenged and his wife is suffering from various ailments, for mutual transfer with one Sanjiv Kumar from Mansa to Budhlada. In this regard, a representation dated 09.12.2024, Annexure P-2, has been submitted, which have yet not evoked any response. He, on instructions, prays that a direction may be given to respondent No.2 to decide the same keeping in view the policy instructions dated 20.09.2021, Annexure P-6, in a time bound manner, to which learned State counsel has no objection. 2.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 09.12.2024, Annexure P-2, keeping in view the aforesaid policy instructions, within a period of 4 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to him and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to his interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
