Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.34 dated 04.04.2017 under Sections 420, 406, 506 and 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station City Sunam, District Sangrur.

Notice of motion was issued. Learned State counsel as well as learned counsel for the complainant appeared and contested the petition. I have heard learned counsel for the parties as well as learned State counsel and have gone through the record. As per the FIR, the petitioner Prem Goyal is to pay an amount Vineet Gulati 2017.05.26 17:03 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM No.M-15302 of 2017 -2of `50,43,933/- regarding some business transaction to the complainant but the petitioners are not paying and have refused to pay the same. As per the FIR, the dispute is of business transaction regarding non-payment of amount.

The petitioners have already joined the investigation. They are not required for custodial interrogation. The trial of the case will take long time. No useful purpose will be served by sending the petitioners to custody.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and without discussing the facts of the case in minute details and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, I find it a fit case, where the petitioners are entitled to benefit of grant of anticipatory bail. Therefore, the present petition is accepted and the order dated 03.05.2017 granting interim bail to the petitioners, is made absolute.
