(ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of FIR No. 101 dated 18.09.2018 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 325 and 427 read with Section 34 IPC (Sections s326, 323, 324, 354, 148 and 149 IPC added lateron) at Police Station Gharinda, District Amritsar and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 25.11.2020 (Annexure P-3) effected between the parties.

Perusal of the order sheets shows that notice of motion was issued in the present case on 22.03.2021 and the parties were directed to appear before the trial Court for recording their statements qua compromise and as per report received from the trial Court dated 09.02.2023, the parties have not appeared before it for recording their statements qua genuineness of compromise. Further, the petitioners have RISHU KATARIA 2024.03.12 18:27 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.

CRM-M-12872-2021 -22024:PHHC:035380 gone un-represented on the last 02 dates of hearing i.e. 10.02.2023 and 26.05.2023. Even, today also for the third time, the petitioners have gone un-represented. Therefore, it can safely be presumed that the petitioners or their counsel are not interest in pursuing the present petition. In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
