The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of order dated 10.10.2023 (Annexure P-2) whereby he has been directed to surrender his passport issued on 21.07.2023.

The petitioner was issued passport on 21.07.2023 and respondent No. 3 by order order dated 10.10.2023 has ordered to impound the said passport on the ground that there is adverse police verification report. The petitioner has preferred an appeal before Appellate Authority against the said order.
