**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J.(Oral) By way of filing of present petition, petitioner seeks issuance of directions for arrest of the accused, for proper investigation of the FIR and for filing of challan. Vide order dated 08.04.2021 passed by the Co-ordinate Bench, learned State counsel was asked to file status report in the aforesaid case.

In compliance of the aforesaid order, reply by way of affidavit of Rattan Deep Bali, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Hathin has been filed. The same is taken on record. As per reply, Ranjeet Singh son of Ram Kishan

committed suicide in a room. The allegations are that Ranjeet Singh died on account of illicit relation of his wife Sonia with Dharmveer. Dharmveer used to come to the house of the deceased at night. The complainant-party kept their eyes on the movements of Dhramveer for the last two days. On seeing them, Dharmveer ran away. In the night of 06.02.2021, Sonia was caught with Dharmveer in a compromising situation. Sonia and Dharmveer attacked upon Ranjeet. Out of fear, Ranjeet called his father and told him the incident. Thereafter, Sonia said that she would call Dharmveer like this and threatened that in case he interferes then he would be killed. The complainantparty called father of Sonia and on his saying the complainant along with 10 people took Sonia and left her in village Attari, U.P.

The family members of Sonia attacked upon the complainant-party and the complainant-party had to run from there in order to save their lives. On 08.02.2021, the complainant-party was under fear and Ranjeet committed suicide out of fear of Sonia and Dharmveer. FIR No.24 dated 15.02.2021 was registered under Section 306 IPC at Police Station Bahin.

As per reply, during investigation Dharmveer filed a petition for anticipatory bail in the High Court in which the High Court directed him to appear before the Investigating Officer to

join the investigation on 29.04.2021. In the event of his arrest, he was to be enlarged on interim bail. Dhramveer has already appeared before the Investigating Officer on 29.04.2021. Sonia was arrested on 20.05.2021 and her regular bail has already been dismissed by the Addl. Sessions Judge, Palwal. Challan has already been submitted qua her in the Court and the case is pending for framing of charges.

In view of the aforesaid reply filed by the State, the prayer made by the petitioner has become infructuous. Petition is disposed of as such.
