The present petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.05 dated 22.01.2020, registered under Section 302 IPC, at Police Station GRP Sangrur, District Sangrur. 2.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Kuldip Singh submits that out of 20 prosecution witnesses, only 3 remains to be examined, who have been summoned for the next date of hearing, which is stated to be 05.10.2023. 3.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the instant petition and for issuance of a direction to the trial Court to decide the case in a time bound manner. 4.

Dismissed as withdrawn at this stage.
