RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for issuance of direction to respondents to re-conduct the inquiry and hand over the investigation to some other independent officer in the representation filed by the petitioner.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that there are two deaths in this case in which the enquiry has not been conducted in a fair and impartial manner.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Ms.Sakshi Bakshi, AAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents and on instructions, submits that representation was received from the petitioner, however, thereafter the petitioner made a statement that she does not want to pursue the same.

However, counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has erroneously made that statement and now she prays for conducting a MEENU 2022.07.20 17:24 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRM-M-12008-2022 -2fresh enquiry and for that he asserts that the representation be taken into consideration.

After hearing the parties, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4, i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur, to look into the representation, dated 02.02.2022, Annexure P-5 and decide the same in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and preferably within one month from today.
