Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing clause (ii) in para 4 of advertisement No.1 of 2021 dated 05.03.2021 (P-1), to the extent of possessing basic qualification of diploma in Civil Engineering as mandatory, despite candidates possessing the higher qualification i.e. Degree/Masters in Civil Engineering. Learned counsel for the parties are ad-idem that in view of the order of even date passed in CWP No.7850 of 2021 titled as 'Nikhil Goyal Vs. State of Punjab and another', nothing survives in the present writ petition and as such the same be disposed off. Ordered accordingly.
