(ORAL) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.885, dated 19.09.2022, registered at Police Station Karnal Sadar, District Karnal, under Sections 323, 427 & 506 IPC (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise dated 20.02.2023 (Annexure P-2).

Pursuant to order dated 13.03.2023, report dated 29.03.2023 has been received from Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Karnal, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them without any pressure or coercion.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.885, dated 19.09.2022, registered at Police Station Karnal Sadar, District Karnal, under Sections 323, 427 & 506 IPC (Annexure P-1) along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioner.
