**** Manjari Nehru Kaul, J.(Oral) This order shall dispose of two criminal petitions i.e. CRR-5052019 and CRM-M-30095-2020 as both of them have arisen out of common order dated 05.02.2019 passed by Addl. Sessions Judge, Kapurthala vide which application filed by the petitioners under Section 245 Cr.PC seeking their discharge in the complaint was dismissed.

CRR-505-2019 -22023:PHHC:045394 On the last date of hearing, learned counsel for respondent No.2 had feigned ignorance about a compromise having been effected between the parties and sought an adjournment to get necessary instructions in the said regard. Today, learned counsel for respondent No.2 has not disputed that the parties have amicably settled all their disputes vide compromise dated 27.04.2022 and thereafter petition bearing CRM-M-48402-2022 seeking quashing of quashing of Crl. Complaint No.COMA/1/2014 dated 16.01.2014 has also been preferred before this Court. Pursuant to directions issued by this Court in the petition i.e. CRM-M-48402-2022 on 30.11.2022, parties have got their statements recorded before the trial Court with respect to the compromise effected between them. The trial Court has also sent its report dated 23.12.

2022 in that regard and on the basis of said report, Criminal Complaint No.COMA/1/2014 dated 16.01.2014 has been quashed vide order of even date. In the wake of submissions made by learned counsel for respondent No.2, learned Senior counsel submits that the instant petition(s) has become infructuous and may be disposed of as such.

Accordingly, the present petition stand(s) dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
