(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect her life and liberty and of other members of her family as they apprehend threat to the same at the hands of respondents No.4 to 15.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has lodged FIR No. 58, dated 6.4.2021, Police Station City Tarn Taran, under Sections 307, 506, 148, 149 of IPC and Sections 25 and 27 of Arms Act (Annexure P-1), against the aforesaid private respondents and that none of them has been arrested so far and that the said private respondents have been threatening and intimidating the petitioner by issuing threats to eliminate her.

- 2 - CRWP-2644-2022 (O&M) Without commenting anything as regards the veracity of the averments made in the petition, the same is disposed of with a direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, District Tarantarn (respondent No.2) to look into the matter as regards the alleged threat perception of the petitioner and to dispose of representation dated 10.3.2022 (Annexure P-4) in accordance with law. In case, it is found that there is any threat perception, then necessary steps shall be taken so as to ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioner.
