***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J. (Oral) The petitioner seeks issuance of a direction to the officials respondents to ensure protection of her life and liberty. Another prayer has been made so as to direct the respondents to give prior notice to the petitioner in the event of her arrest. Yet another prayer is that she should not be called to the police station time and again without complying of provisions of Section 160 Cr.P.C.

The petitioner is wife of respondent No.5 - Vinay Kumar Dhir with whom she is having some litigation. The petitioner has also lodged FIR No.0424, dated 12.10.2022 at Police Station Zirakpur, District SAS Nagar, under Sections 406 and 498-A of Indian Penal Code (Annexure P-4) against respondent No.5. Apparently it is a case of matrimonial dispute amongst the parties.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting anything as regards merits of the case or as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed of with a PANKAJ KAKKAR 2023.03.03 14:40 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

( 2 ) CRWP-2065-2023 (O&M) direction that in case the petitioner is required to be associated with any inquiry in the capacity of a witness or as a complainant, then provisions of Section 160 Cr.P.C. shall be adhered to. In case the petitioner being an accused is required to be associated, needless to mention, the police shall comply with provisions of Section 41 Cr.P.C.
