1. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner but while refraining from making any expression as regards merits of the case or as regards averments made in the petition, the petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.3 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib to look into the matter and to ensure that the matter pertaining to FIR No.184 dated 15.10.2016 registered at Police Station Fatehgarh Sahib, District Fatehgarh Sahib, under Sections 323, 341, 148, 149, 379-B of Indian Penal Code, 1860, wherein offence under Section 379-B IPC was added later on, is got investigated fairly and expeditiously in accordance with law, so that a final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. is submitted thereafter at the earliest.

2. Since the FIR was registered more than 7 years back, it is expected that the needful shall be done and investigation shall be concluded within a period of 6 months from today.
