Learned State counsel on instructions from DSP Yogesh Kumar has stated that the address given by the petitioners in the memo of parties is wrong, however, the local police had contacted the petitioners at another address of Patiala where they had stated that the petition had been filed by them on account of some misunderstanding which has now been removed and now they do not apprehend any threat to their lives and liberty at the hands of private respondents or any other person claiming under them.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. For the said reason and in view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition cannot proceed further and is dismissed accordingly. (H.S.
