By way of present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for issuance of direction to respondent Nos.2 & 3 for registration of an FIR against the accused persons i.e respondent Nos.4 to 10.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his clients would be satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent Nos.1 to 3 to decide the representation dated 29.11.2023 (Annexure P-3) moved at the instance of petitioners by passing a speaking order expeditiously. 3.

Prayer seems to be justified.

Upon advance notice, Mr. Athar Ahmed, DAG, Punjab appears on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3 and raises no objection to the innocuous prayer made on behalf of the petitioners. 5.

In view of the aforesaid, but without going into the merits of the controversy, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to MOHMED ATIK 2024.03.05 18:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgmemtt

2024:PHHC:031337 respondent No.3 i.e. Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, Punjab to look into the representation dated 29.11.2023 (Annexure P-3) and decide the same in accordance with law by passing a speaking order preferably within a period of 08 (eight) weeks' from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
