On 02.03.2020, the following order was passed:- "Through this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.347 dated 24.07.2018, registered at Police Station Hodal, District Palwal, under Sections 148, 149, 306, 323, 324, 341, 427 and 506 IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 (Sections 306 IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 deleted and Sections 326 and 307 IPC added later on).

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that Geeta, daughter of complainant-Bijender was married to Jasbir Singh in the year 2013 and two children were born out of the said wedlock. Jasbir Singh committed suicide on 23.07.2018. He further contends that the petitioner has not been named in the FIR and has also joined the investigation at the initial stage. Notice of motion for 21.07.2020.

Meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation and if he is sought to be arrested, he shall be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer/Arresting Officer subject to the conditions as envisaged in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure."

Today, learned counsel for the State, on instructions from Sh. Dharambir, HPS, DSP, State Crime Branch, has stated that the petitioner has since joined the investigation on 15.06.2020 and has fully cooperated. However, he is no longer required for any further investigation as of now.

In view of the above, the order dated 02.03.2020 is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called for. The petitioner shall also abide by all the terms and conditions as specified under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
