HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J When the case came up for hearing on 23.03.2022, petitioner No.2 undertook to prepare an FDR for an amount of Rs.40,000/- within two weeks in the name of petitioner No.1.

When the case came up for hearing on 28.04.2022, learned counsel for the petitioners filed in Court a photo copy of FDR No.292056 dated 06.04.2022 for a sum of Rs.20,000/- in favour of petitioner No.1 drawn on Punjab and Sind Bank. He had undertaken to get another FDR of remaining amount of Rs.20,000/- prepared in the name of petitioner No.1 within a month.

Today, learned counsel for the petitioners has placed on record a photo copy of FDR No.292152 dated 26.05.2022 for a sum of Rs.20,000/- in favour of petitioner No.1 drawn on Punjab and Sind Bank. It is directed that the amount so deposited by petitioner No.2 in the name of petitioner No.1 be not encashed by either of the petitioners and be kept in the name of petitioner No.1 until solemnization of their marriage. In case on petitioner No.2 completing the age of 21 years or MANOJ KUMAR 2022.06.01 09:36 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRWP No.2570 of 2022 #2# any time earlier, they decide not to solemnize marriage, then petitioner No.1 will be at liberty to withdraw the amount. Petitioner No.2 will have no claim of any kind on the said amount.

A copy of the order be also communicated to the Manager of the concerned Branch of the Bank for information and necessary compliance.
