The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of award dated 18.01.1994 (Annexure P-29) whereby Labour Court has ordered to reinstate workman without back wages till the date of reference. 2.

The Labour Court has ordered to pay wages from the date of reference to date of reinstatement. The matter was referred to Daily Lok Adalat and as per its order dated 20.03.2017, respondent has paid wages to workman from the date of reference to Labour Court till the date of his superannuation.

The respondent No.2 attained age of superannuation in 2003. He has already been paid wages as ordered by Labour Court. As per orders of Labour Court, he was to be reinstated. On account of his superannuation, the question of reinstatement has become academic and further, there is no representation of the workman. 4.

Disposed of.

The workman is at liberty to move an appropriate application, if cause survives.
