Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.40 dated 24.03.2018, under Sections 379/411 of the IPC, registered at P.S. Sadar Kurali, District S.A.S. Nagar, along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.

Today, the learned State counsel has filed status report, on affidavit of Dharamvir Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, SubDivision Kharar-2, District S.A.S. Nagar, which is taken on record. This status report makes revelations that, after completion of investigation in the FIR (supra), the Final Report under Section 173 of the Cr.P.C. has already been presented before the learned trial Court on 04.03.2024. 3.

In view of the supervening events (supra), the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the instant petition, however, with liberty to raise all such pleas and claims, as raised before DEVINDER YADAV 2024.03.05 17:32 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
