BEDI, J.(Oral) Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that allegations against the petitioner is that he identified the impersonators of Daulat Ram and Chuhar Singh while appearing before the Sub Registrar, Tehsil Majri District Rupnagar. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the first witness i.e. Paramjit Kaur, Namberdar and Sneh Lata, beneficiary of the sale deed have been declared innocent. The petitioner claims that he is second attesting witness. It has been argued that Balwinder Singh, the beneficiary has been granted concession of regular bail by the Sessions Court, Rupnagar. Though allegation against the petitioner is of having identified Jagdish Chand as Daulat Ram which does not entitle SATYAWAN 2016.05.20 16:57 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh
CRM-M-16732-2016 -2him for bail but keeping in view the fact that the challan has already been presented and co-accused of the petitioner having been granted concession of bail, the petitioner can also be granted the same relief.
The petition is allowed. The petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court.
