The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for seeking a direction to be issued to respondents No.2 & 3 for protection of life and liberty of the petitioner and her family members at the hands of respondents No.4 and 5 and to further take an appropriate action on representation dated 21.02.2020 (Annexure P-1) submitted to respondent No.3 by the petitioner.

It is contended that the petitioner has submitted a representation to respondent No.3-Station House Officer, Police Station, Gidderbaha, District Sri Muktsar Sahib levelling allegations of threat to life and liberty of the petitioner and her family members at the hands of respondents No.4 and 5.

At this stage, on the asking of the Court, Mr. Sidakmeet Singh Sandhu, AAG, Punjab who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents and submits that the official respondents will look into the matter and will take a decision on the complaint of the petitioner.
