By way of present writ petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has approached this Court for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to accept his application form and to enter his name in the register of Pharmacists, maintained under Chapter-IV of the Pharmacy Act, 1948. 2.

Upon notice, Mr. Varun Suman, Advocate, for Mr. Gopal Sharma, Advocate, has put in appearance on behalf of respondents No.3 to 5, and has filed Power of Attorney, which is taken on record. He has instructions to state that B-Pharmacy Degree, acquired by the petitioner, from Rajasthan University of Health Science, Jaipur, has been verified. He submits that the Senior Secondary Certificate of the petitioner is yet to be verified and within 10 days of receiving the verification letter from the concerned Education Board, petitioner's name will be entered in the register of Pharmacists.
