HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Prayer is for grant of Anticipatory Bail in complaint No. 507/2017 dated 06.10.2017 filed under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, titled as Sarabjit Singh vs. Pardeep Kumar pending in the Court of Ld. JMIC, Faridkot.

The petitioner is accused in the aforestated complaint. On account of his failure to appear before the Ld. Trial Court on 15.10.2019, non-bailable warrants of arrest of the petitioner were issued. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that non-appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court on the date fixed was due to unavoidable circumstances as his wife was seriously ill. He undertakes that the petitioner shall appear before the learned trial Court on any date to be fixed by this Court.

On his doing so, he shall be enlarged on bail by the trial Court subject to his furnishing bail bonds and surety bonds to its satisfaction. He shall also file an undertaking before the concerned Court to continue appearing as and when required apart from following all the terms and conditions fixed in this respect.
