**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J(ORAL) This is a petition for quashing of the FIR. It was filed in May 2015.

On the last date, certain facts were revealed by the counsel appearing for respondent No. 2. It had been stated that the petitioner was not appearing before the trial Court and non-bailable warrants were issued and Yashpreet and Sandeep Singh were declared proclaimed offenders in June 2016.

The petitioner was to inform whether he was abroad or had returned to the country. Counsel for the petitioner today submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the petition.
