RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India directing respondent no.2 to protect the life, liberty and property of the petitioner, which is in imminent danger, at the hands of respondent Nos.4 to 6, who had caused bodily harm to the petitioner and also giving threats to her to withdraw the complaint. It is further prayed that respondents no.2 and 3 be directed to take strict legal action against respondents no.4 to 6 and also take action on representations of the petitioner, dated 10.07.2022 and 28.02.2023, Anenxures P-3 and P-4. It has been submitted by counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner would be satisfied if her representation, dated 28.02.2023, Annexure P-4, is decided in a time-bound manner. Notice of motion to official respondents only.

On the asking of the Court, Mr.Sandeep Kumar, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State. After hearing the counsel for the parties, the present petition is MEENU 2023.03.

CRWP-2280-2023 -2disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, i.e. the Senior Superintendent of Police, Khanna, Police District Khanna, District Ludhiana, to look into the representation, dated 28.02.2023, Annexure P-4, and decide the same in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of one month from today.
