**** RITU BAHRI , J. (Oral) Quashing of FIR No. 103 dated 29.06.2015 under Sections 452/341/506 IPC and Section 12 of POCSO Act, registered at Police Station Chachhrauli, District Yamuna Nagar, is being sought on the basis of compromise dated 24.09.2015 (Annexure P2).

Brief facts of the case are that the complainant Manisha was taken away by Monty on the pretext of marriage and thereafter, F.I.R No. 191 dated 30.09.2013 was registered against the petitioner and petitioner was arrested but subsequently, the matter was compromised, with the intervention of respectable of the Society. But the petitioner again started following the complainant and doing wrong activities with her and started teasing her. On 01.06.2015, he entered the house with bad intention and after seeing the mother of the complainant, he ran away from the spot. However, the matter has now been duly compromised, vide GAURAV ARORA 2016.08.17 16:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Crl. Misc. No. M-1685 of 2016 compromise deed dated 24.09.2015 (Annexure P2). In compliance of order dated 18.01.2016, report of District and Sessions Judge, Yamuna Nagar at Jagadhari has been received in this regard. As per report, statement of the parties have been recorded to the effect that they have compromised the matter and the complainant does not want to proceed further against the accused and has no objection, if the present F.I.R be quashed against the petitioner. The compromise has been entered voluntarily.

Consequently, in view of the status report and in view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Dr. Arvind Barsaul etc. versus State of Madhya Pradesh and another 2008(2) RCR (Criminal) 910, no useful purpose would be served in prolonging the litigation. Accordingly, FIR No. 103 dated 29.06.2015 under Sections 452/341/506 IPC and Section 12 of POCSO Act, registered at Police Station Chachhrauli, District Yamuna Nagar, is quashed along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom qua petitioner. The petition stands disposed of.
