Petitioner seeks concession of pre-arrest bail in a case registered against him vide FIR No. 98 dated 23.04.2015 under Sections 307, 323, 148, 149 IPC and sections 25, 24, 59 of the Arms Act at Police Station Rama Mandi, district Jalandhar. Learned State counsel has filed reply by way of affidavit of Dev Dutt Sharma, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Central Jalandhar. Referring to same, learned State counsel submits that allegations against the petitioner are serious and he is required for the purpose of investigation.

Heard.

Allegation in the FIR is that accused together caused injuries to the complainant. Petitioner-Sukhdev Singh @ Sukha fired at the brother of complainant. As the bullet did not hit him, co-accused Lucky took the revolver from Sukhdev Singh (petitioner) and again fired hitting the thigh of Naresh Kumar-brother of the complainant.
