ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN, J. (Oral) The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.289 dated 01.05.2017, registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 379 and 411 IPC at Police Station Samalkha, District Panipat. The operative part of the order dated 25.04.2018, vide which interim anticipatory bail has been granted to the petitioner, is reproduced as under:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that name of the petitioner was disclosed by co-accused Ravinder in his disclosure statement. Co-accused Ravinder has already been granted anticipatory bail by the High Court in CRM-M No.24619 of 2017 vide order dated 19.09.2017. Main allegations were made against coaccused Sonu in respect of tampering of chassis and engine number of the vehicle.

Notice of motion for 31.05.2018."

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, in pursuance to the order dated 25.04.2018, has already appeared before the SHO/Investigating Officer and has joined the investigation. MOHD YAKUB 2018.08.24 17:27 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M No.16829 of 2018 Counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Ravinder Singh, has not disputed the factual position and submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no more required for any further investigation.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 25.04.2018 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
