(Oral) Today in compliance of previous orders dated 10.5.2016, Mr. Vijay Sharma, counsel for respondents no. 4 to 7 and 9 has handed over to Mr. HNS Gill, counsel for the petitioner demand draft of Rs 2,92,600/- drawn on Punjab National Bank, Malkana Distt. Patiala favouring Manjeet Kaur-petitioner which has been received by counsel for the petitioner, copy of which has been placed on record of this case which includes interest @ 9% from the date when the amount was received till date. Mr.
Gill has made statement that in view of this settlement, his client undertakes that she would not pursue the execution of the decree which has been passed in as a consequence of judgment dated 21.4.2015 in Civil Suit No. 58 dated 23.4.2014, titled Manjit Kaur and others vs Suresh Kumar, as the amount in DALBIR SINGH TIWANA 2016.05.30 09:27 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.
Criminal Misc. No. M-18724 of 2013 -2question has been received today by way of demand draft. Therefore, decree so passed by the court of learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Samana stands fully satisfied.
In view of the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition. Allowed to do so. Dismissed as withdrawn.
