(Oral) This petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail to the petitioner in a case FIR No.73 dated 25.08.2017 under Sections 353, 186, 436, 427, 34, 148, 149, 120-B and 188 IPC read with Sections 3 and 4 of Prevention of Damages to Public Property Act, 1984 and Sections 3 and 4 of Explosive Substances registered at Police Station Sadar Budhlada, District Mansa.

Petitioner is stated to be in custody since 23.01.2018. Investigation has been completed and challan presented before the trial court. So, no useful purpose would be served by detaining the petitioner any longer. The trial may take some time to conclude. Thus, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is allowed and the petitioner is directed to be released on bail to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Mansa.
