The matter in dispute pertains to the title over the land. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that civil decree in his favour is already there.

Petitioner can approach the civil Court for further remedy in the matter. No relief directing the police to allow the petitioner to harvest the crop can be allowed in this petition.

Dismissed.

However, if there is any threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner, he may approach the police, by moving a petition on which appropriate action shall be taken after due verification in accordance with law. It is, however, made clear that nothing observed above shall be read as providing protection to petitioner in any civil, criminal or other proceedings.
