(ORAL) Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 to 4 to ensure free, fair and impartial investigation in case FIR No.141 dated 24.05.2018 registered under Sections 341, 379, 323, 506, 148, 149 IPC at Police Station Phillaur, District Jalandhar.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that purpose would be achieved, if respondent No.3 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar (Rural), is directed to look into representation dated 10.09.2018 (Annexure P-5) in a time-bound manner.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners and after perusing the paper-book, but without commenting on merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar (Rural), to look into the representation of the petitioners dated 10.09.2018 (Annexure P-5) and do the needful, if required, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
