Naresh Kumar Sanghi, J.(Oral) Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Pritam Singh, Police Station, Economic Offences Wing, Moga, submits that in compliance of the interim directions dated 15.05.2015 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is not required. He further submits that a draft of `9,50,000/- (Rupees nine lacs and fifty thousand only) was tendered by the petitioner before the Investigating Officer but the same was not accepted by the informant/complainant. The same is still lying in the police file. In view of the above, the present petition is allowed. Interim directions dated 15.05.2015 passed by this Court are made absolute.

The petitioner shall continue to join the investigation as and when required to do so and abide by all the terms and conditions as laid down in the order dated 15.05.2015. The observations made in the order dated 15.05.2015 would not effect the merits of the case.
