This is a petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.29 dated 14.12.2015 under Sections 406/498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Women Police Station, Sector - 17, Chandigarh on merits.

Learned Addl. PP UT Chandigarh has pointed out that the aforesaid FIR already stands quashed vide order dated 03.08.2018 passed in CRM-M-20166-2018 on the basis of a compromise between the parties and as such the present petition has been rendered infructuous. 3.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
