The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the result dated 20.2.2024, Annexure P-9. Further, a writ of mandamus has been sought directing the respondent to join the petitioner on the post of Staff Nurse as she has scored seventy-two marks, which are more than those of the last selected candidate in general category. A direction has also been sought to the respondents to correct the petitioner's category from BCA to that of general, as the same was inadvertently mentioned in the application.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner will be satisfied in case the second respondent is directed to consider and decide her pending representation dated 26.2.2024, Annexure P-10, in a specified time.

Learned counsel for the University accepts notice and submits that the pending representation will be decided by the second respondent/ Registrar of the University within a period of six weeks from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order.

In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the University, learned counsel for the petitioner has no objection to the petition being disposed of in terms thereof.
