**** RITU BAHRI , J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for quashing of criminal complaint (Annexure P-1) and summoning order (Annexure P-2) Learned counsel submits that petitioners are mother-in-law and father-in-law of the complainant. The allegations against them are general in nature.

Keeping in view the fact that the summoning order has not been challenged by way of filing a revision petition, learned counsel after arguing for some time, wishes to withdraw the petition with a liberty to take all the pleas before the trial Court.

Dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty. Keeping in view the above fact that the allegations levelled against the present petitioners are general in nature and the fact that they senior citizens, the personal appearance of the petitioners is exempted before the trial Court, subject to the following conditions:- (i) petitioners shall be represented through counsel; (ii) shall not delay/stall the trial proceedings; (iii) shall not dispute their identity as an accused: (iv) shall have no objection if the prosecution evidence is recorded in their absence but in the presence of their counsel; (v) shall appear before the trial Court as and when required by the trial Court; and (vi) any other condition which the learned trial Court may impose. 08.05.2017 (RITU BAHRI) G Arora JUDGE Whether speaking/reasoned Yes Whether reportable No GAURAV ARORA 2017.05.09 15:17 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
