(ORAL) Petitioner is seeking issuance of directions to respondents No.2 to 5 to consider the representation bearing No.2093 dated 23.10.2023 (Annexure P-2) in FIR No.1395 dated 10.08.2021 under Section 135 of Electricity Act, 2003 registered at Police Station Anti Power Theft, District Bathinda, against the petitioner, in view of the provision of Section 152 of the Electricity Act, 2003. 2.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Amit Rana, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the State. 4.

In view of the limited prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of with directions to the official respondents to look into the representation dated 23.10.2023 (Annexure P-2) of the petitioner and decide the same in accordance with law at the earliest preferably within a period of two weeks from today.
