Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail on behalf of accusedpetitioners Jarnail Singh, Gurbir Singh, Jaspinder Singh @ Kala Singh, Kabal Singh and Hardeep Singh in a complaint case no.1047 dated 22.12.2014 titled as Avtar Singh v Jarnail Singh and others under Section 3⁄4 of the SC/ST Act and under Sections 323,506,148,149 IPC, pending in the Court of SDJM,Talwandi Sabo.

It transpires that an altercation had occurred on account of filling up of a drain used for draining out rain water towards the pond. Vide order dated 18.5.2016 while issuing notice of motion it was directed that in the event of surrendering before the trial court within 10 days, petitioners be released on interim bail. CRM-M 17083/2016 on 24.5.2016 and were released on interim bail. Learned State counsel on instructions, as also the counsel for the complainant are unable to refute the said factual position.
