*** NIDHI GUPTA , J. (ORAL) Prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of FIR No. 239 dated 13.09.2005 under Sections 406, 420 and 498A IPC at Police Station Nawanshahr, District Nawanshahr (Annexure P-1).
Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Dharam Anand, informs that the petitioner has been declared Proclaimed Offender in the above said FIR vide order dated 31.05.2006 passed by learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, SBS Nagar. Perusal of the file shows that the present petition has been filed on 04.02.2013.
Learned counsel for the petitioner admits that there is no prayer for quashing of the above said order declaring petitioner as proclaimed offender in this petition.
