Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the action of the respondents in not granting the benefit of notional pay fixation as well as seniority on the basis of their merit. At the outset, learned counsel, on instructions from petitioners submitted that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, he would be satisfied in case the representation dated 18.10.2021 (P-15) is decided expeditiously.
