Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the orders dated 28.10.2020 and 16.05.2018 and directing the respondent No.3 to issue Arms license to the petitioner.

Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is living in a farmhouse and for the purpose of self-defense, requires the weapon that was possessed by his grandfather, who passed away on 25.05.2017. He refers to the FIRs dated 29.05.2017 and 28.06.2017, Annexure P-2 and P-4, respectively, registered with regard to the theft at night in the same locality and the concerned police station of his area, while in the order dated 16.05.2018, Annexure P-7, it has been stated that no such incident had taken place, which is thus, contrary to the record. 3.

The aforesaid facts having been brought out, during the course of hearing, learned State counsel, on instructions, states that the respondents would not be averse to have a relook at the matter and decided afresh, taking note of the aforesaid submissions, within a period of 3 months, which this HAMANT 2025.05.15 17:47 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
