(ORAL) This is a petition for quashing of cross case under Sections 307, 323, 324, 148 & 149 IPC and under Section 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, recorded on the statement of Jasjit Singh respondent No.2 in FIR No.288 dated 5.11.2005, under Sections 307, 452, 323, 427, 148 & 149 IPC and Section 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, registered at Police Station, Civil Line, Batala, Tehsil Batala, District Sangrur, as well as criminal complaint No.74 dated 12.6.2007, under Sections 307, 323, 324, 447, 148 and 149 IPC and under Section 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, on the basis of compromise.

The parties were directed to appear before the trial Court and get their statements recorded regarding the matter having

CRM-M-16232-2015 (O&M) been compromised. After recording the statements of the parties, a report has been received to the effect that the matter has been compromised without any threat, pressure or coercion. In view of above circumstances, following the judgment of Full Bench of this Court in case Kulwinder Singh and others Vs. State of Punjab, 2007(3) RCR (Crl.), 1052, this petition is allowed. The cross case recorded in the above said FIR as well as the criminal complaint and all the subsequent proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed on the basis of compromise.
