Mr. Rohit Seth, Advocate, for the petitioner. ***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Petitioner, in the present petition, has applied for the post of Clerk advertised by Subordinate Service Selection Board, Punjab on 01.09.2016. Pursuant to the same, she appeared for the written examination which was held on 06.05.2018. According to learned counsel, petitioner has cleared written examination by securing 51.75 marks. Admittedly, she appeared against the General category. Her plea now is that she inadvertently filled the category as General category while she belongs to Freedom Fighter category. The prayer is that necessary changes be made and she be considered against the post meant for reserved category of Freedom Fighter.

This court feels that petition is misconceived. The advertisement was issued way back in the year 2016. Thereafter, petitioner has appeared in the written test as well as type test. It is inexplicable how the category can be changed at this stage. Petition is hereby dismissed.
