The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of regular bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.0126 dated 8.2.2021 at Police Station Model Town, Panipat, District Panipat under Section 379-A of Indian Penal Code, wherein it has been alleged that the petitioner alongwith his co-accused had snatched purse of the complainant, which contained cash, mobile phone and other articles.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the FIR came to be lodged under some misunderstanding, which has now been resolved, and a compromise has been effected amongst the parties. PANKAJ KAKKAR 2021.04.01 11:36 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Opposing the petition, learned State counsel has submitted that since the name of the petitioner surfaced during investigation, no case for grant of bail is made out. He has, however, informed that the petitioner has been behind bars since the last 1 month and 7 days and is not involved in any other case. 4.

Mr. Chand Ram Olla, Advocate, has today put in appearance on behalf of respondent No.2/complainant and has filed Vakalatnama, which is taken on record. Learned counsel for the complainant has submitted that the parties have amicably resolved their issues and he has no objection for grant of bail. 5.

In view of the aforesaid submission, wherein the matter seems to have been amicably resolved, further detention of the petitioner will not serve any useful purpose. The petition, as such, is accepted and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail subject to his furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of learned trial Court/Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate concerned.
