(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners, in a case arising out of FIR No.02 dated 11.01.2016, registered at Police Station Women, Patiala, District Patiala, who have been booked for having committed the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 406 IPC read with Section 120-B IPC.
At the very outset, learned State, on instructions from HC Sukhpreet Singh, has informed that the compromise has been effected between the parties. In this regard, the complainant has given an affidavit. At this stage, custodial interrogation of the petitioners is not required.
